An experienced journalist in the fields of features, travel, design and the arts, I write for myriad publications globally, including The Times, The Telegraph, The Guardian, The Financial Times (How to Spend It), the Sydney Morning Herald, Condé Nast Traveller, Australian Gourmet Traveller, Porter, Departures and more.
I have worked on staff at House & Garden, the Illustrated London News, Harper's Bazaar, Cedar Communications, the Daily Mail, Reuters, the Financial Times and The Australian newspaper.
These roles have ranged from reporting to travel-editing, from editing magazines to creative content production, from sub-editing to production-editing. Travel is a strong specialism as of the last decade and travel supplements I have edited include five years of the Harper's Bazaar Travel Guide as well as the Destinations guide for House & Garden magazine.
I also work prolifically as a long-form copywriter, creating thoughtful content for brands, PRs and advertising agencies. I have supplied the creative for successful online advertising campaigns, joined copywriting teams for top luxury brands and pitched for, won and created a brand magazine from scratch with an art director.
I have a great interest in Cuba, and, as well as writing about the island, lead small-group trips there, including this one with Valerie Hemingway (dates to be amended) covered in Forbes.
