Lydia Bell is an experienced, award-winning freelance travel and features journalist. She writes for national travel sections including The Times, The Financial Times (How To Spend It), The Sunday Telegraph, The Independent on Sunday, The Express, The Guardian, The Sydney Morning Herald, and consumer magazines including Condé Nast Traveller, Harper's Bazaar, Psychologies, Tatler and The Sunday Times Travel Magazine. She also writes for a range of contract titles.
Lydia has had staff positions on The Australian, the Financial Times, the Daily Mail, High Life and Harper's Bazaar, working as a commissioning editor, writer, production editor and sub editor. Lydia is currently a Harper's Bazaar contributing editor, editing their travel supplement from 2007 to 2013.
